The carnival came to town last weekend, and my professional filmmaker friends and I decided to take advantage and shoot a movie there. We wrote the script Friday night and shot it Saturday afternoon. Some of the footage is quite stunning and the props cooperated very nicely.

We rounded up an actress who worked out extremely well, and since we couldn’t find an actor in time, I got to be the star. There’s even a kissing scene (well, a kiss on the cheek).

It didn’t end up being about vampires but something else paranormal and I think you’ll like it anyway. I’ll post it here as soon as it gets all edited up!

Vampire book sales climbing fast

Last month was our best sales month ever, thanks in part to the Kindle price drop, and so far we’re on track to beat that record by 50% this month. Thanks so much to anybody out there spreading the word!

One common question is when I’ll finish the sequel. The answer, of course, is when there’s enough demand for it. So please keep telling others about This. via your book club, your blog, facebook, and even f2f.
